Um no i deff. dont mean wastegate lol... I know very well what each does, i build turbo systems on trucks and cars for a living but u cant tell what somone has on something by just hearing it all the time... and wastegates dont make sounds like bov's when the throttle is let off sorry... I mean BOV... it sounds liek that or really bad comp. surge at the end ... i was juts tryin to see if anyone uses the electric bov's
