yes simple solos with emotion. but just 3 notes isnt an impressive solo. im waiting to hear them do a nice emotional yet fast solo. you dont have to be a metal head to be a great soloist though. metal heads can be overrated. i just want to hear more than a few notes. at least throw in a scale! good song writer and rhythm guitarist. but i dont think he deserves to be lead. love the band though keep rocking

@luisne93 totally agree, josh is a slow guitarist, i can play all paramore solos in a minute, they're not that hard, i prefer sum 41 and bullet for my valentine solos coz they contain sweeping and shredding, no offense but i can play guitar better than josh, watch my videos for proof.

Paramore solos are EASY....paramore is EASY...Bullet for my Valentine goes from hard to easy...but they have some real solos...even the easy ones are pretty complex...no BFMV solo fails to amaze me...and Children of Bodom...do those guys ever do anything easy? answer is no and they do some of the hardest stuff to play. No offence to paramore fans but josh is nothing compared to Alexi Laiho, Matt Tuck, or Padge Paget

you don't have to be like eddie van halen to be great man. josh's solos are great because they ARE simple and slow. it's not about playing 20,000 notes per second it's about emotion

@jorghad6 if u play the guitar and have tried many playing styles from jazz to metal in all sorts of tempo, you would know what a real good simple solo is. and this isn't it. this is just pop act in disguise as a band. i'd rate MCR's guitarwork better than this and i don't even like MCR.
