  • love the music!

Does anyone have it? or knows the name?

it would be very helpful! thanks.

  • that was the world cup...not the aeon cup

  • She really likes to do those arabesque turns and then wrap into some regular pirouettes. How come no one else does this? Sessina seems to have better turning skills but does mostly straight leg turns of various positions.

  • The Shape Is Attitude, Arabesque Is A Straight Leg At 90 Degrees Behind Your Back... And She Does Them Incredibly! Others Try This Element, Garaeva Has The Attitude To Passe In Her Ribbon, So Does Peycheva, They Dont Often Have This Element As They Dont Turn Alot. Anna's Attitude To Passe In Her Ribbon Routine Has A Difficulty Of 1.2!!! Its So High In Difficulty She Does It In Almost All Her Routines.

  • She is fantastic!!

  • i like her music!!!can anyone tell me the name of the music???

  • Its From The Island, I Have The Music, I Can Send It To You?

  • yes,please... can you send me the music????

  • yes,please... can you send me the music????

  • she is perfect!! i like ANNA BESSONOVA!!!!! is the best gymnast!!!

  • yes, it's true, but she manage to take that "step out" into another exercise, like a little step or intro to a turn, or another "equilibrium" ...

    still, one of the greatest

    Hails!!

    ~*~

  • omg r u guys telling me she made a mistake? i didnt even notice! WOW ! she is wonderful!!

  • The routines these days are SOOO overloaded with skills that you be certain you will almost always see at least a couple minor mistakes... it happens when you have to fit in that many skills into such a short period of time for the composition scores.

Every gymnast performing seems to make a couple minor glitches that most people dont pick up on... it is a VERY PRECISE and Technical sport.

  • Yes i definately agree. I mean humans sometimes still make mistakes no matter how often they go over something.

  • I think you'd see less errors and more BRILLIANCE in the routines again if they lowered the number of required elements. Back in the 90s it was like 12 or 13 required skills per routine... the GREAT gymnasts all did more than that to showcase their talent.

In the last cycle though, they more than doubled it to almost 30 required skills per routine, and that was when you stopped seeing the flawless performances and had all the little errors happening.

  • Actually, in a senior routine, there is a maximum of 18 technical elements wich is a lot! But after the 2008 Olympics, the federation decide that 18 elements is too much and there will be a maximum of 14 elements. And they add more rules like you cant repeat the same type of element over and over in the same routine like Kapranova's because it was boring to watch.

  • -Where did you read this? Do you know any more?

  • sorry i made a mistake, it wont be 14 elements but 12. so the gymnast will have to do more throws then before and add more artistic value. I read it in the new code of point that my coach showed us.

  • While she always puts on an exceptional display, she tends to fall out of her layback ballances and turns, never seems to really find the center of the spin when going backward, and in alot of her attitude/arabesque spins the free leg very often falls below verticle.

Still a master of the sport though, and beautiful to watch

  • Well, this greatly improved in 2007, she's so stable now whereas the russians have no control whatsoever.

  • I think that has to do with Coaching... Irina Viner (the lead Russian coach) is FAMOUSLY very very hard on her athletes, pushing them very hard and overloading the athletes with more difficulty than they can handle. You would probably see more consistency from them if she gave them a little bit more positive reinforcement.

But Bessonova is definately the most brilliant one competeing in the world right now.

  • Yeah your right

And also when she started her leg in the air was bent

  • that was so she would keep the ball where it was. her body was bent backwards that a straight leg wouldn't reach. no human being has enough strenght to hold an oversplit (not counting kazakova who has a special condition)

  • You Clearly Havent Seen Bessonovas Clubs! Her Y Stand Without Help, As The Clubs Are On Her Foot... If You Open Your Eyes, And See Her Legs Are Beyond The Split Line (The Routine Where She Turns On Toes, 2007/2008) So What You Said Is Not True!

  • i know that routine... kapranova had the same begining in 2005 for rope and clubs... but her leg is in splits, not oversplits when she is supporting her clubs... and when she starts the routine her leg doesn't stay in splits at all, it falls down slightly;-)

  • its called ehlers-danlos syndrome
