  • excuse me, but arent your calves tiny?

  • how long you do this workout and have that calves sorry for bad english

  • Just wondering - what is the science behind doing the jump skipping.. or basically getting the heartrate up before doing these calf raises or doing weights in general?

  • @superduperboyx It's a way of per-exhausting the calf's, since I do not have a large amount of weight to do my calf raises with, this is an effective alternative.

  • Are u Shy or... ???? Silly Fellow

  • a lot mor better if u jump bare footed but herts like a mofo if it hits ur feet.

  • careful ! you're whipping your mothers plants

  • I'm gonna try this out. I'll come back and tell you how it goes.

  • I'll have to try that routine out.; BTW,you have a nice patio/plants.

  • Simple, perfect.

  • nice backyard

  • nice shoes!

  • @chance8164 Thanks, what do you think of the workout

  • @FitnessFAQs Whats the difference of this and what kids do?

  • @SatansUnicorn1 Agreed, just means we have to work harder.

  • Do you even lift?

  • @tjmmckelvey No.

  • Fitness Fucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What is the point in skipping if you want to do calfs just run on the spot?

  • @hellothere640 Not necessary, but I enjoy the added challenge.

  • SHUT UP!

  • Thanks man!

  • im 14 and i lift 40kg whilst doin calf raises, and btw fast ones are better

  • @RockJunkie911 u clearly dont know anything and are a complete liar because pro body builders dont lift 40 kg while doing calf raises and slower calf raises are more benifitial so stfu idiot

  • This is a GREAT calf work out. Thanks man!

But I wonder...why is 3 the magic number for how many sets? Go the EXTRA mile and do 4 sets to gain more!

  • @Escott013 I usually do 4, but most people watching my videos are beginner-intermediate level.

  • good work my man, but I want to ask you something: Does this workout give some inches to your vertical jump? And about how many months of practice somebody needs to get good results (I am 5'7'' and my weight is 63 kg)?

  • awesome.

  • How Many times a day? And is it daily or every other day???

  • @DSCDude34 2 times per week if you hit it hard!

  • Great video

  • you doin calf raises to fast u gona tear something

  • I do the calf raises with 2 20 pound weights, now I know I'm doing them right although a bit slower. Thanks for the video dude!

  • how much do you weight? do you live in usa?

  • @tapper7724 83kg, AUS

  • hey Man Loved the Video

but where can i buy a vest like that?

  • @BabaelCraig14 google "fitstream"

  • Decent workout; but when doing calf raises, try to be more on the balls of your feet. As you were on your arches; you didn't feel it as much, nor were you able to get your heels to the ground. With your current form, one-legged ones wouldn't be nearly as effective as they could be. Compared to all the madness you do with your upperbody, your lowerbody should be doing twice as much; since it's naturally twice as powerful. But it seems as though the lowerbody muscles are being neglected. Not good.

  • @JustElijah Good comment and good advice, this was when I was just starting out with calf raises, I now use proper form.

  • would i be right in guessing you're left-footed?

  • @MadDogQ Wrong, right : )

  • My calves are huge from mountain biking :) bigger than the guy in this vid n im only 14

  • @OfficialHiddentest Good for you, I've just sent off a trophy in the mail; so you should recieve it within 4 - 6 working days. Included is an engraving kit, and a clear plaque. Enjoy your achievement, but enjoy boasting even more now!

  • skipping rope?its a JUMP rope lol

  • How do post a calf workout when you have no calfs??? Its like blind people teaching you how to drive.

  • That piano wire jump rope looks like it would fuck someone up, especially with how fast u spin it lol

  • @rdale14 Cheers mate :D

  • do it slower cunt

  • @immortalhenry1 thats what she said

  • @GameWEIRDOS hahahaha :P

  • having strong leg calves makes u run faster and jump higher ..... right ?

  • @Develionsphere Yes, it definatly does help quite abit

  • @Develionsphere along with quads and hamstrings

  • how heavy is the vest?

  • @fennel456 30kg.

  • @FitnessFAQs waw

  • lets see some barefoot work

  • he is doing the first workout so fast we cant even see the strings and looks like he is faking it lol

  • Hey man looks like a good routine. Just wanted to know why you were repping so fast on the calf raises. Best results normally come from a 1-1.5 second up and 3-4 seconds down. As well maybe try pointing your toes our and or your heels out to localise different parts of your calfs and get a better burn (<-- along with normal raises)

    Good vid tho

    Matt

  • @nissan3215 Didn't want to make the video too long to bore anyone, however yes you are right, more control is recommended.

  • Sounds like a good routine, im gonna give this a go this week.

  • good set bro

  • Good to see the introduction to Cardio based training buddy. Keep going big man!

  • what's with all this "exercise" bullshit, you should be playing more quakelive

  • @LevDwBro

    what happened to COD lmao

  • how much that vest weight?:D i have a vest like but i don't have weights cause it was made by a snip. can i ask you of what is made the weights from your vest? i am thinking to put leads in each pocket. but i need about 40 kg:D when i will have my vest done i will try this set. keep training hard!

  • @illusionist0505 30kg weight vest, 15 compartments at the front and 15 compartments at the back, 1 kg increments of lead.

  • @FitnessFAQs my vest is like that to but i will try to fill in each compartiment 1 kg and 250gr

  • @FitnessFAQs Hey they say that having the add on weights can cause UN-natural stress on back is that true??

  • Awesome coffee cup @1.46

  • Good job man, keep those tutorials coming :).
