wow! hugely expensive bar tape at 6$ for two rolls....... the stuff lasts forever just get white and clean it with bleach or blue dawn..... dont use tubes on your bars

yeah!! I did that before watching your vid on my bullhorn handlebar..

the only difference: i cut the tube in the middle so it`s a flat tape and wrapped two layers around the handlebar beginning from the outside..

...it has a great grip and feel now.. and it looks expensive!some people think this is a joke...no,it works great!!

Great idea, but nasty yucky tubes??....maybe on an old winter hack....but never on an expensive machine...(standards, ya know). LOL

Cape Fear Cyclists go green. Having wrapped my second set of bars with recycled tubes I have an additional trick. Now instead of the cheap plastic or flimsy ...metal bar end plugs, I am recycling a readily available alternative. Cheaper than the very nice Velox plugs and hey, you get to empty the bottle first! That's right just cork em. Ordinary wine bottle corks or champagne corks if you want to be fancy.
