He became friends with outcasts from his community--fishermen (poor, dirty guys), prostitutes, tax-collectors (ppl who ripped others off), disease-ridden folk. And when I am in a bad mood or bad situation I sing it over and over while I pray. I wish I could go to high school with everyone from NYC instead of my school. Don't fret about the 10 thumbs down. Usually when an unbeliever listens to Christian music - it is because they feel lost and desperately want to have Christ in their lives so it comes out in anger because they can't wrap their minds around it yet. I personally know three people going through this. Just pray for them ! God will do the rest :)
