  • I have been trying to think of this song for years. Could only remember the yeah, yeah, yeah, but not the name of the song. Then the words "stubborn kinda fella" just hit me tonite and I found this. A local band (Buffalo NY) used to play this all the time. I'm so happy!

  • Name one hiphop clown that could hold Marvin Gaye's jockstrap?

  • @222billp Well first in those days you had to have talent and know how to actually sign which is no longer a requirement in today's music you actuallly have people calling Jay-Z an artist forgetting that Prince by the age of 18 had self mastered playing close to 20 different instruments, go figure.

  • amazing , thanks for droppin this on ,

  • I"ve loved this song from the first time I ever heard it...that was when I was in the Army. FT Polk Louisiana..1963...I never became a fan of Marvin Gayes and I had forgotten this song until I heard a bit of it in the film about Early Motown

  • I know I may get it for this but what the hell, lol Record producer Phil Spector once commented that when he first heard this song on the radio, he shrieked in excitement and nearly ran over somebody so he had to pull over. He was blown away by this song. I think the sound of this song influenced his Wall of Sound.

  • Hi! This song is one of my five prefered songs, in all the songs I've heard.First time I've heard it, it was Stevie Wonder singing it, so I thought it was one of his songs, but since I've knew that it was M.Gaye's song, I've had the chords & lyrics & have recorded it immediatly!5* without problems! THKS for sharing this song. BYE!
