  • To take the words of a Prophet of God and use them as a backdrop for cheap political ad for Ron Paul? Shame on you, Brother. Do not pollute or take in vain the words of a Prophet. Our calling is to present them to the world unvanished by our own agendas.

  • @UtahKent You shouldnt be so quick to judge sir. Take the words of Ezra Taft Benson in their entirely and you will see that Ron Paul echoes his politics.

  • @UtahKent /watch?v=tQS42giSdIg

  • @UtahKent Boo to you sir. To take the words of the prophets and not listen to them is worse. Dr. Paul follows the teachings of the church of Jesus Christ more so than any other candidate. if you study the history of politics and the words of the prophets on such thins then you will find he is right. Just weeks ago GOP voters booed the golden rule and cheered the trail of tears and totalitarianism. I hope the lord may soften your heart sir.

  • Joseph Smith said God designated his Church the only church on the whole earth The last battle, in 421 AD, wiped out the Nephites. Moroni, last surviving Nephite, buried records in Cumorah, in NY . Hundreds of yrs later, Joseph Smith directed to the spot by Moroni who appeared to him in his bedroom in NY. Smith then "translated" the record & published it in 1830,The Book of Mormon. I'ss a cult...

  • Is anyone else alarmed by the growing cry of "liberalism" WITHIN the Church by more and more of our own members? Our leaders, particularly the Prophet and the Apostles, are absolutey steadfast in their allegience to common sense and wisdom but I see a persistent, growing faction of our own members who foolishly clamor for immoral ideas, particularly for the acceptance of homosexuality. Google Heber C. Kimball and see what he said about a time of great sifting.

  • @Twister051 Most of us are very much alarmed with permissiveness within the Church. But there is also very much the need to be cautious as well, and not be too quick to judge what some people say. There is really a need for everyone to be repentive of what serious sins they have on their hands right now, as is spoken in General Conference, because without the spirit, you won't have the strength to stand or accept the truth in these harsh times.

  • @Twister051 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

  • Oh, how I WISH we wad a President in the Whitehouse who had a sign on his desk that simply said "Do what is right, let the consequence follow!"

God bless America, the land WE love!

  • @Twister051 .......that should be "had", not "wad".

    Sorry for the typo.

  • Are you listening Harry Reid? Please send some missionaries over to Ron Paul, he is an inspired man!

    Tex

  • Great Great Great video, but you automatically make yourself less relevant when you throw Ron Paul in there. Take him out and the message will reach more people.

  • I have to agree that by throwing a candidate in there most folks immediately discount the video as just another political spin job. These principles need to be taught separate from any candidate so that people can begin to discern between candidates on their own.

  • @myeyepie I agree... and plan on making another version of the video, without any specific candidate... especially so that it can be used to teach the general principle of voting for wise and honest principled candidates, regardless of the election year, party, etc...

  • @JustinMartyrJr Uhh benson can take his false prophecies and shove it up joseph smiths fat ass in hell

  • @supportingcrew False? What planet are you on...? Everything he said has or is coming to pass. Say hi to Kim Il Sung, Stalin and General Mao when you see them.

  • proclaim liberty unto them Jer 34:8

Gal. 5: 1, 13 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. • • • 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

  • This should be reposted under another title so that we can get more people to view it. Even tho it has LDS prophets, I think that the over all message should just be the title.

  • I don't question the honesty of Ron Paul, and on a vast array of points I ideologically agree with him, but in totality I cannot call him wise by any stretch of the imagination. He hangs allegiance to ideology over allegiance to human dignity and he allows too much of the nigh cult status he's received to go unchecked by loud words of restraint. He scares me almost as much as Obama, and that's saying a lot!

  • How is it that supporters amongst the Later-day Saints that support Ron Paul can invoke these words and at the same time oppose the liberation of Iraq? The Monroe Doctrine is upheald, then why not the doctrine of spreading the spirit of the Monroe doctrine to all men, know ye not that there are more nations than one? You can't fully support Ron Paul and cleave to the spirit of the Monroe Doctrine.

  • No, we believe in choice. We believe in freedom to choose. We cannot force another man (or nation) to "do the right thing". The framers taught us not to get involved with the affairs of other nations. We trade with them and we offer them our friendship, that is all. Nothing more.
