@Hakkastyle after you use "constrainfloorelevation false" cheat, go to the terrain tools and use the one that puts the terrain in the same level. then drag the green square from the foundation through the squares of the wall. did i helped? XD

i'm so frustrated. I tried this and everything went so well until it was time to put furniture in and put the walls up. the stupid grids are floating in the middle of the whole room and then i have to go all the way to the lowest level so it looks like a basement with no walls :(

OK i got this down. BUT how would you add a garage door to this if you wanted an attached garage,without it only showing ony bottom foot of the garage door? because i cannot figure it out!!! same thing with a regular door but i know i could just add a foundation porch to a regular door..

I was sucessful at making the split level per you turorial. However the moment I put a roof on the house and covered the split level with tile the inside wall went black. They could not be painted. I completely removed the split level and still all the wall in the main house were black. I know people make these rooms...so what is wrong with mine?
