  • very pretty.

  • you are really good at jumping!

  • great riding! thumbs UP if you think so!

  • Lovely, but it kind of looks like you might be leaning forward to far over the jump?

  • your a realllllly good rider i seen the video of razz the horse that wasnt ridden in a while and you handled him amazingly without a problem :)

  • where are you in nj?

  • beautiful jumps ! :)

  • you should deffo jump higher :)) great horse and rider x

  • Shes no a half bad rider, getting there bit by bit :)

  • Fantastic riding! You must of been having a really good day or something! I wish I could ride like that!

  • is that a dressage saddle

  • does he have a flap in his lung? my horse does the same thing

  • I think that Melissa is an excellent rider, one I wish to be. Horses are definitely aWeSoMe!!!

  • you are great why not try higher?

  • good job

  • i like you're style you can jump a lot higher but i think not whit tiss horse

  • nice, but it looks like you're only riding dressage til yet? only one thing. to give your hands over a fence is better for the horse, but at this height it isn't such a big deal. i'm also practising this ( :

ps i saw your other video, and that was awesome!

  • all she needed after this would've been practice. She has potential just needs practice. Also how much training did the horse have? Sucks about the chips (small strides right before the jump like at0:22) too I hate them

  • man your horse is so steady you lucky thing when i go around my horse is so flat out!! good work :-)

  • that horse looks like starlight off of the saddle club

  • horse needs more energy towards jump and before the jump you lean way to forward.

  • you should jump higher your really good

  • she shouldn't jump higher than she's comfortable jumping. Just because you're a good rider doesn't mean you should jump higher. That's how confidence is ruined and people get hurt.

  • yah that is a dressage saddle!

  • good rideing:D

  • nice jumping! ur a good rider!

  • Nice riding, just one thing you might want to know, your reins are a little bit loose for jumping, i dont know if that horse prefers that or not but if you go to bigger jumps you might just want to take up the loops a bit.

Nice riding though, good camera skills too :D

  • Dressage saddle :)

hehehe, Youre a really good rider though! :D

That horse is adorable toooo <3

  • hmm.. nice...but you need to make your horse more lively.. and your horse was lagging energy over the jumps. Dont forget to squeeze right before the jump!!

  • is that a dressage saddle?!

  • Haha, I think it is!

It may be an all purpose.

  • does it matter? its still a saddle its not tht big a problem.

  • yes it is, so what?

  • it look like a combi saddle

  • no that looks like an all purpose saddle to me

  • yeah it make's very little difference when you jump. just hurts a little more when you land lol

  • definitely not.

  • think it is ...

  • umm noo...

  • @sparkliebellagirl i think not....lol

  • @sparkliebellagirl

bit late to reply to this, but im pretty sure its just the numnah. in the closer parts i can see the flatness of the seat :)

  • aww I love Kali. Great job, nice jumping :)

  • great rider and beautiful horse!!! filming was good too!!

  • hmm. nice ride. the only thing you need to work on is using your leg at the base of the jump cause if not you get those awkward jumps like at 0:22. your a really good rider though.

  • wow ur a really good rider! what's the name of the horse you're riding?

  • heres a tip make sure you sit up and keep the same pace throughout your ridealso give your horse a nice big kick to keep it cantering and let your reins go a tiny bit loose overall your great

  • whats to be critical about?! its a fantastic video with a great rider and excelent filming! couldnt be better!! great job

  • Only thing to say is maybe give with your hands over a fence. Not so important at this height but when you go bigger, the horse will need its head.Lovely round though :-)

  • is that Kali?

  • bit flat

  • You have a wonderful position, with a nice straight back. Just move your hands forward for the release. I love the nice, steady pace and you work your corners nicely.

  • very nice god u look very comfortable

  • You have a really really nice horse , and you are an amazing rider. But you just need a little more PUSH so your horse doesnt add a thousand little strides before a jump. But overall great ride : )

  • Nimm die Zügel kürzer und setzt dich weiter vorne in den Sattel. Dann ist es gut...

  • Wollt ich auch sagen^^

  • ya no

  • well ridden and that is a lovely horse!!!

    :D

    xxx

  • beautiful horsee : )

I really liked how you kept a steady pace throughout the course, great for hunters.

good postion over the jumps also.

    over-all great ride,

  • o, shes a good rider

  • Ok! Your AMAZING!!!

  • omg, your such a great rider! he needs a bit more leg though but, really nice! :]

  • Great job, like your coach said, you just need to keep your leg. Get her nice and foward too so she doesn't get too lazy.

  • Good Riding:) Shame About the first fence though:P

my horse always does that lol she will know the first jump down:P

try and squeeze on a little bit at ask the horse to pick up his head a little because his weight was on the front end of him rather than keeping the energy in his hindequatres:)

    well done:)

  • aww cute horse, she look's really old,, well not really old but kinda old.lol

  • She's shouldn't be leaning so far forward over the jumps. She should be letting the horse come up, into her hands so she doesn't over jump the horse - thats a good way to fall off! She should also practice without stirrups every so often because she's got really loose legs and that could cause her to fall off over the jump. She should also have her heels down a whole hell of a lot more.

  • hey. as a rider my self, i love advice so i took your video and made my comments...

0:07: you need just a little more impulsion. push with your seat.

0:23: nice collection in between the jumps. a chip is fine. :]

0:27: GORGEOUS simple change. nice and quick. perfecto.

  • Ok that is creepy! That horse looks exactly like my horse... How many hands is he/she? What is her/his name? What kind of horse? That is a cute horse!!!

  • she did really good!

  • ur really really good. unfortunate about those few poles, but great job. your horse has a really good pace, and you hav great position over the jumps. nothing bad i can say here. where in nj? i used to live there near bucks country, in a little town calld pennington! watch my vids if you want, comment, critique, do wat ever you want

  • is this horse very young?

    good riding

    x

  • how old is that horse? the horse looks like he is struggling, but you are a good rider

  • looks EXACTLY like my mare :) we do jumping aswell :)

  • looks E X A C T L Y like my mare :)

  • that was a brill round well done..x it would help a little though if u just kept your leg on and really pushed it towards the fence but i would love to ride a horse thats steady toward the fence haha mines BSJA all it knows is the speed round i need to work on tha lol but it was a really good round you have a great position..x

  • gooood jobbb...i luv ur horse and the way u ride! some suggestions: work on ur flying lead changes and push ur horse a teeny bit more before the jump so it doesnt fit in those tiny extra strides.

  • I agree! BRILLIANT RIDING, but does need to push the horse on a little :)

  • good job!!

  • how old is that horse????

  • I find tht this Melissa girl is a really good rider

  • cut horse adoreeee tehhh jumps lool :D

  • nice

  • thats really good nice jumper u got

  • where in NJ?

  • @accountabilabuddy1 ugh i'm in CT. so close, yet so far.

  • @accountabilabuddy1 where in NJ are you?

  • Hey

    You've got a stunning horse!!

All you need to is put a groundline a small step infront of the jump and tell him wen to jump and youll be fine he wont get the wrong stride then!

    Kayx

  • FINALLY!I can see a video that shows the height of the jumps I jump!

  • where does melissa ride????

  • Yes, it is my account (Paul)--"some kid a the barn" huh? I think I know who you are. (VR)

  • so not my best course ever, but kali was tired haha. I must have been nervous with all the paparazzi haha.

  • I'll give you a second chance, as long as you're willing to be the subject of a new video. Just don't let the paparazzi ever make you crazy enough to shave your head, OK?
