  • I've noticed most of the time when people get stung or severely injured by an animal, they are pestering the animal or are in the vicinity of the animal's home.

Make sense? What would you do if an intruder broke into your house?! Idiots.

  • wow, such a nice video.thank you for taking the time to do this cause i find it really intersting

  • I find it really cool that you managed to find a position with the wasp nest being constructed over the window, with the window as the center/base of it. It makes for a nifty means of watching their progression as a hive and just how they go about their duties. I'm no fan of wasps, but when they're not trying to tear my face off, they're pretty cool to look at.

  • if you tap the window are they bothered by it?

  • Its amazing how they all perform their tasks without being instructed and things get done. Amazing creatures. Imagine if humans could work this way?

  • interresting stuff

  • hmmm why don't you spray yourself with pheromones ot make them think that you are a one of them and when fools try to brake in to you house they get stung lol

  • Thank You So Much for posting this video! You can read all you want about them, but nothing surpasses seeing the whole process of nature play out right inside the comfort of your house. I know this sounds crazy but I wouldn’t mind them building on the backside of my house among a window. So many people see Hornets as a nuisance but I have found them to be quite beneficial. Just as long as they are not in areas highly travel by humans.

5 Stars! (Or I guess just a thumb up now)

  • Early in the morning put a soap nozzle on a pressure washing machine with a mix of dish soap and bleach, get it all primed up and go to town on that nest. Soak the hell out of it and you are DONE!!!

Own a pressure washing business and get calls for the oddest things and this is one of them that works and it works perfect every time.

  • this is so interesting..... i really enjoyed it

  • Not too many cats go out of their way to attack humans...they avoid them....lol.

I would imagine these would be a bee keepers sworn enemy. Tho I wouldn't really know.

  • i use a bottle of washing toilet bowls soup mix with aluminiuom foil and i shake it and i put a fireworks in it then i put the bomb into the hole of the nest and 5seconds later it blew off

  • Oh, sorry. Just telling you about the bee thing. Is it ok?

  • Idiot, these are wasps.

  • Awesome, dude! :D

  • Bump the window again!!!

  • The larger hornet is that the queen?

  • As deathly afraid of hornets as I am (read: respectful of their kill zone) these movies show their softer side.

Doesn't change the fact that if I ever find a nest like that in my yard it's getting hosed with 2 cans of Raid.

  • leave it alone if its not harming anything....these things eat sooo many bugs

  • They also send people to the hospital, people who aren't allergic to bees even. You're out mowing the lawn, then suddenly they're attacking your face. Better safe than sorry with hornets.

  • right but my dad is allergic to cats and he is not lacing anti freeze all over the block either

  • yeah but they also hurt like a mother fucker if they sting u

  • well dont mess with them and dont get stung

  • yeah but they're not reasonable creatures lol..they won't know if you're trying to hurt them or not...theyre bugs dude

  • haha i know I am a beekeeper, and so i can look at them in a different way.

But you have to look at it in there point of view. They work so hard and put everything into there nest. So they have to defend it =)

  • @david052856 EXACTLY, Say you were in your house and out of nowhere, a ball bigger then anything you have ever seen comes at you and destroys Half the house. You have kids about to be born in part of it and your kitchen that cost you 6,000 dollers to remodle is now an outside deck. Your going to have to attack the moron who did this to you. You can't get sued because your a hornet and you don't understand humans

  • @david052856 i thought it was spiders that ate bugs... lol

  • @shinigamijesi they do as well, but all wasp and hornets are carnivorous. They eat huge amounts of bugs every day to feed their brood!

  • I have always wanted to see something like this! So interesting! Thank you!

  • wow.. i love watching these videos. thanks for posting.

  • I take it you did not open that window all summer.

  • wow thnx so much for posting this amazing footage. its not often you get to see the actions inside the nest without disturbing them.

it is possible to relocate a small nest to a box. cut one side of the box off, and that will be the side you put up against your window. use hot glue to glue the nest in the box right up against the window so that the comb is actually touching the window. that way when they rebuild the envelope, they rebuild it around the window so you can see in

  • Nice! Good to see another great video of this nest!

  • Amazing view of nature in action. Wonderful video. Congratulations!
