Es increíble la manipulación que hacen los escoceses de aquel partido. Lo fueron calentando antes de la eliminatoria proque en el atlético había argentinos. Durante el partido, hubo juego duro, pero también mucho teatro por parte del celtic. Además el árbitro expulsó a 3 jugadores del atético y ni aún así el celtic fue capaz de marcar.

Y tal era la rabia de no haber ganado ante 8 y ni siquiera poder echar la culpa al árbitro que al acabar el partido policía, jugadores del celtic y aficionados agredieron a los atéticos. Eso sí que quedó impune, y no el juego violento del atlético que fue sancionado con 100.000 CHF, la sanción más alta impuesta hasta aquel momento.

What people forget is that Athletico came within a minute of winning the European cup that year.they were 1-0 up in extra time with a minute of extra time to go, then Bayern equalised. Luckily they were hammered 4-0 in the replay because they were the dirtiest team ever and it would have been a disgrace if they had won.They had 3 sent off against Celtic in the semi-final and 7 booked i think.
