  • kool looks dope

  • @SeanKAlexander

Ok so I stand corrected -its a replica and for a moment I was fooled!

Some say it's a poor replica! Even if it does sound different, I wouldn't mind having that replica! Since so few were made, being a Sports/Prototype, an original 330 P3/P4 must run into the millions now -in any currency, right?

I was always focused on the Ford V Ferrari battle and the heroic way Ferrari stood up to the Ford onslaught with their massive resources plus Eric Broadley's vital input! And you?

  • Still sounds pretty good for being a v6..

  • Replica? This is no replica: it's the real deal: Stewart & Chris Amon drove it to 2nd place at the 1000Km of Brands Hatch. For the Lamborghini ‘fan’ they only started up in the 1960's! They never even competed with LeMans Sports/Prototypes which is what this Ferrari was designed for. At the time Ferrari was locked in battle with Porsche and Ford. Ford eventually prevailed at Le Mans in 1967 having to use a beastly 7ltr V8 against Ferrari's classy 4 Ltr screaming V12 -and what an advanced design!

  • @soundspur Are you serious? Did you even listen to the video? It's a turbo V-6 and doesn't sound ANYTHING like a normally aspirated V-12. The car in this video is a just a clumsy replica of the Stewart / Amon 330.

  • @SeanKAlexander if anyone thinks that's a V12, they've never heard a V12. LOL

  • Lucky it's in a cage! :¬O

  • That is no vintage Ferrari, that's a rather mordern Replica. Bullshit.

  • Hmmm it has something from Alfa Romeo:O

    Anyway, Lambo foreverr#1!!!

  • Sounds like its turbo and uses anti lag as wheel, doesn't it?

  • Man that is beautiful! Watching this in the morning to supplement my daydreaming for today...

  • @steveo72990 that's a replica Steveo. LOL

  • that lucky bastard there`s only 4 330 p4 in the world

  • Do you think the mechanic gives a damn about how the exhaust sounds?

This is the sound of a true racing engine wich all those tuners dream about (but they only have 4 cilinders).

  • then u actually dont know shit... u should hear it when the rpm is a little higher nab.

  • Jackie Stewart and Chris Amon drove a 330 P4 number 6 at the BOAC at Brands Hatch, finished in front of the Porsches (2nd place) and secured the manufacturers championship for Ferrari. This car looks like a tribute to the car that won it....or might be the actual car though I doubt it.

  • ma qnt è carina la piccolina!!! XD

  • Wow! Look at those sexy vintage curves! :-p

  • I plan to build one of these one day, but I'm going to have an as authentic as possible replica V12 engine. I think the hardest bit would be getting the exhaust to make an authentic sound. It's a shame Ferrari scraped these race cars.

  • I've heard good sounding V6s, that one might be. However the ignition seems too retarded, the fuel too rich (or at least inconsistent) and the exhaust is too overcomplicated. Not saying i would know better at this moment, just saying thats what it sounds like.

  • No. If you had ever heard a P4, you would know this is not a real one. A P4 sounds like a ultra high revving chain saw buzzer, oh, I am getting shivers up my spine just thinking about it, this sounds like the American car industry......

  • No this isn't a real P4 i suspect it has a Renault V6 engine....The JYS connection...heaven knows, the fact that it is in Scotland maybe...lol...

  • Kind of odd to put JYS name on it. Did he ever have anything to do with the (real) P4?

  • It's a close look alike, not the real thing

  • nice body for a replica......sounds like ass!

  • no es un p4, es un p3/a

  • definitely a replica

  • Anyone who believes this is a Ferrari 330P4 never saw or heard one in their life!!

    I DID

    I attended the 1967 Daytona 24 hours.

    jcarroll330P4@

  • Quest'auto ha un design fantastico! la adoroooooo!!!! ^^

  • "Talked to the guy driving and he told me some history about the car and it not actually being a normal P4 but the Jackie Stewart Special."

Sounds like you were being fed some 'special' b*llsh*t to me. This car is one of 60 similar Noble P4 replicas currently on my register. THAT special !

  • And there was me thinking that the guy was talking some sense. Maybe he just told me a lot of rubbish to see if I would believe it? (Which I did)

  • @P4Replica ,I was going to say,thats a nice "replica"

  • This particular example is powered by a Renault V6 (PRV) Turbo motor, and is owned by Mal Nicholson, of Trentside Classic & Sportscars of Burringham, Lincs.. That's Mal warming up the engine -- which is apparently pretty much unsilenced -- hence the reason for all the pops and bangs on the over-run.

  • Yup. No way that is a Ferrari V-12 or boxer or flat 12.

  • if this is the real 330 p4(which this isn't), it DOES have a v12

  • come to think of it, most ferraris that i know of are mostly v12's

  • Nice little video. Not sure what you mean by 'Special'.

I should point out that (other than having his name on the side of the cockpit), this car is absolutely nothing to do with Sir Jackie Stewart. Neither is it a real Ferrari P4. It is actually a Noble P4 replica, built from a British-supplied kit in the early 1990's.

  • Ferrari V12 symphoney!!!!

  • It's a Renault V6, not a Ferrari V12... Then again, it's obvious from your nick that you are not a car guy... :P
