Although Vince was going to throw tons of cash at Hardy and give him one of the biggest cupcake work schedules I think it came down to creative control, Jeff wanted to do what he wanted with his character where Dixie said sure you can do whatever you want while Vince told him he wanted him to stay like he was. Hence the weird face paint he has/had on TNA.

@e952ct What? Jeff was on his 2nd strike and after declining to renew (WWE wanted him to go into rehab) he was arrested a short while later for drug trafficking. A few months later Victory Road happened. Now he seems to be clean and I really hope that he takes an opportunity to go to rehab and stay healthy, b/c I'd love to see him back in WWE clean and SOBER.
