I just purchased a 2004 GTO with a 6 speed...I want to get the flow master american thunder exhaust, a predator tuner and K&N cold air intake...but for stock this car is amazing....every trip whether its to work or to the grocery store is a blast.

Always loved this commercial. The new GTO's are as true to the original as any car out there. Yeah it is a Monaro, and the originals were Tempests, no one with a grain of sense cares. Sure retro styling is cute, but those who want a comfortable muscle car have started to figure out the 04-06 Goats are a very formidable option.

i have a 5.7 and i'm perfectly content. love it as a daily driver except in snow (just snowed recently). it seems as though whenever some does try to race in the street, they're showing off for their girl and its always subpar cars. like in this commercial, is that an impala that pulls up?

the price diff from a 5.7 to a 6.0 is quite a bit, money which could be and in my case was used to mod my 5.7 to easily beat even modded 6.0's. not all about size of your engine mr. compensator.

It is a mid size car, with a full size engine. a 3700 pound car with a six liter v8 engine putting out a ground pounding tire killing, 400 horsepower. All backed with a 6 speed manual transmission.

The GTO had one problem a lot of high performance Holdens had, the tyres weren't wide enough to get all the power to ground properly. Good for burnouts though.

actually, its an LS1. first, it dosent have dual hood scoops, and second, it has its dual exhaust pipes coming out on the same side of the car. this is an older commercial and is the 2004 GTO. i own one so trust me on this one
