If you want a big car for family i think that passat would be the best, if you want limousine choose honda but if you want car with is economical, dynamic and prestigious choose volvo v50.
Honda's are extremely reliable, Volkswagons are uhh not, Volvo is somewhere in the middle and much more stylish. I've read about some electrical problems with the Volvo in some year models, though.
I'm not sure whether or not to go for it, I've been reading up on plasticsurgerymadeeasy (.) com

we got the V50 have had the zafia,307sw.astra sxi..there ok cars but the volvoe wins by miles in comfort and safety and style

I had a Volvo V50 and it was a very good car! My fav car I has was the VW Passat Estate, I've now got a Silver VW Passat Saloon.

I would go for Volvo always, couse Volvo has great quality and looks way better than the other cars.
