i just wanted to say man, i watched a few of your vids and they are great, some people are complining but i guess that is youtube these days, so fuckem, . you gave your time up for free and its helping me alot, cheers fella, - Liam, Liverpool
Seriously, you're incredible for taking the time to do this!
I don't know what you'd exactly consider too difficult or too complex, but I was REALLY hoping maybe you could give a shot at doing Paranoid Android. I've heard some piano covers and it sounds incredible. And yeah, it does sound hard, but I don't know, I feel like you could pull it off!
Thank you for your help, you are by far the best instructor on the web I have encountered yet! I am dying to play Let down by Radiohead.....could you entertain doing Let Down? Thanks again
Thank you so much for posting this! I've wanted to learn this song so badly, and I've had a hell of a time trying to find the sheet music for it. Can't wait to try it, thanks again!
I learned this song thanks to your video. Thank you so much for Posting this. You should consider doing a Sufjan Stevens - Concerning the ufo sighting near highland, Illinois Tutorial.
Hey, my this tutorial is IMMENSELY helpful (so is your Spinning Plates one). Thanks!
There's a tutorial by johnnyklef for Down Is The New Up, and though it's pretty close, it's not quite what Thom plays in his "From The Basement" performance. I "fixed" some spots here and there, but I can't get the whole thing no matter how closely I listen to the "Basement" recording.
If you like DITNU, I'd love to have a correct tutorial for it. It's not really hard to play but it has lots of chords.
On the D Octave why do you move your pinky from F# to E only to move it back again? Would it not be more efficient to just hit E with your ring finger and D with your middle? Then you use your ring on E from the B Octave when it seems to make more sense to switch your pinky at that point since that's where it goes on the next cord. Am I missing something?
I think the point theonlyKIDA is trying to make is Laservius obviously suffers from sort sort of inferiority complex in that he always feels obligated to put ONLY CORRECT VERSION somewhere in his videos. I've seen tons of Radiohead tutorials online where the author doesn't feel the need to rub themselves and highlight their superiority, but Laserviur seems incapable of this. It's great he has these up, and they're quite helpful, but his narcissism is little unfortunate.
Sorry if you think my english isn't the "ONLY CORRECT VERSION". You'd think after your first comment, you wouldn't be so critical. It's almost comical for you to point out someone else to being a narcissist, yet sound like one yourself.
I correct an error in my statement and I'm narcissistic? Listen, the people he criticizes might have spent a lot of time and energy working on their Radiohead tutorial videos, but he guy comes in and not only assumes he's seen EVERY possible video for this song but nonchalantly proceeds to criticize and degrade their work for absolutely no reason. Classy.
I wasn't going to reply but your assumption is so far off base that I had too. I wrote "only correct version" because at the time I made the video, it was the ONLY correct version. I don't care how many views there are. If people are going to put in their time to learn a song, I should equally put in the time to make sure it is correct. I've learned enough songs from books that were incorrect to know that it's a waste of time to learn a song incorrectly and then have to relearn it.
I put "only correct version" on only two videos: Fog, and Like Spinning Plates. Why? Because when I wanted to learn these songs, I couldn't find a single video on youtube or any other place showing the correct way to play the song. And when I saw some of the comments on one of the videos saying that people were happy to finally be able to play the song, I knew that I had to make a video.
It might seem wrong to write "only correct version" but the mistakes in the other videos were so obvious that I couldn't see how someone who was trying to teach others could make those mistakes.
Another person who obviously takes the time to make sure the videos are correct is MrsRoppa. Her Radiohead videos are always accurate.
Laservios! Don't put attention to what THEONLYKIDA said: I can hear the difference, and Like Spinning Plates was supreme, the only one full correct on Youtube!!! THANKS!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
you are such a freakin tool...
theres no need for this dude. there are like 4 other tutorials for this and spinning plates and everything else you have. instead of revising theirs and making your own, why not bring something new to the tacle like sail to the moon.
seriously dude. WEAK. and your little "only correct version" makes you look like a total douche.
I made these videos because like I said, they were the only correct tutorials on youtube. I didn't revise the other tutorials, I just listened to the Radiohead songs and did them correctly. I'm sorry if you can't hear the difference. But for those people that DO have some musical ability, it DOES make a big difference.
They are indeed the only correct versions, if you actually took the time to learn the music on the piano, then you would be more appreciative you little kiddie
I honestly don't believe people as yourself get enough credit or appreciation for the time and effort you put into tutorials such as these - Especially for less musically inept people as myself. Thank you. I'll be playing this in my first show.
Excellent tutorials man, but when I watch them I feel really uncomfortable because of the way you seem to comment on the other videos by that guy, yeah maybe his was a bit wrong but why should you have to mention it like he's some dumb idiot who doesn't know what he's doing? He's only helping others out. All you had to do was make your own and say it's yours and be done with it. You seem like a perfectionist aswell as snobby. I don't mean to sound harsh either, it just seems a bit disrespectful.
nice. Thanks for doing this, I really really liked the Like Spinning Plates one! Considering your comment at the end of this vid, it would probably be too difficult to figure this out, but I'd love to be able to play the end of All I Need. And You and Whose Army would be pretty awesome too.
you are the best. If you know how to play you and whose army, could you make a tutorial for that sometime. That would be awesome. Thanks again for the vid
This is really difficult, but I think I'm getting a hang of it.
On behalf as a fellow ateaser, I thank you.
