@hopkin104 except thats not quite true as F1 cars have around 900-1000hp and only 200 and odd pounds feet of torque. They do of course rev to 18,000rpm mind! for your normal road car though without bike like revving torque plays a bit more of a key; it needs to be backed by the horses though.
