I always thought that WCB was an insurance co. True a company that you had no choice but to pay, but still an insurance co. If you were injured on the job, this would insure that life, and payments continued. Any other insurance co. would be in court. Maybe the answer is to allow competition. If we could purchase insurance, without monopoly, only the good ones would survive. WCB,SGI would either rework and repair their policies, spend much time in court, or die out.

WCB will buy medical opinions from Physicians, to say "NO REASON FOR PAIN FOUND"
