Hmm - looks like '54 front end? We are looking at putting a Yukon diesel under our "55 - it seems to be alot of work any way you do it.

That sounds pretty cool, I'd like to see that. I'm putting a 350 in this one tomorrow, at least mocking it up for welding engine mounts. This one looks just like the 54, same grille and everything, it's just a 55 First Series.

Yea your like me if I can't trade for it I have to built it. That is the prefect frame it has all the modern brakes and suspension and everything in at auto zone. Keep up the good work and keep videoing

I've got it on a late 80's s10 frame, it was a lot cheaper that a Mustang II for the front end. But I'm pretty sure I never want to do a frame swap again, way too much work because I made my own brackets. I couldn't afford the conversion kit for that either.
