note to all attempting 0-100 times, the speedometers very rarely show true speeds. You'll usually find that at 100kph there is a difference of about at least 7-8kph. This is easy to see if you use a GPS device which will show a more accurate speed.
On my car my true 100kph comes at and indicated 108kph.
i've got a 2001 GS done just about 48,000 miles completely stock and the book says 14 seconds to 60mph (100kmh) but i clocked 12.19 on a slight uphill! i was quite impressed! and i was carrying a passanger.
if you drive slow the car will go slow..try to put shell v-power and try to stay over 4000 rpm after one hour you will see the difference and if you can't stay over 4000rpm in the city go to the highway maybe you have garbage in your engine
guys is it a manual 1.0 or auto (CVT)? Pl confirm.

true, but in some shitty country where gas doesn't come for free, this is a bad idea
precednik 2 years ago

1.0 is the smallest of all engines.i thought the 0-100 kmh would be about 25 seconds
shawtiee1085 3 years ago
I also have the 99 model and using 99+ octane :)) And if toyota says 13.6, I can't imagine how yours gets 11.5 :S
littleyaris 3 years ago
Soo....that was a 0-100?
The gear change was too low and slow...
I have a yaris 1.0cc too...
Would you like a video response with MY 0-100?
greatkostas 3 years ago
Put it...because I can't see where is the problem
The whole car was stock, and I chrono it at 13.1s...better than the 13.6 declared by Toyota
littleyaris 3 years ago
Probably you have not a lot of km in the engine, have you?
greatkostas 3 years ago
I think it had around 70000km when I made that movie...so, it had enough.
And really, I want to see the performance with your 1.0 stock Yaris, how much is the difference?
littleyaris 3 years ago
With 95 octane petrol, i chrono it at about 11,5 sec..
To be more accurate, i will chrono it again tomorrow night so we will be able to make more clearness calculations:)
P.S.I have the '99 model
