Going 3D was a huge mistake in my opinon. The 2D versions rock and will always be the best! Also the PC versions are alot better then the PS1 versions. :)

Broken Sword is awesome, if you like it you should check out ToonStruck, I think it only works on DOS or Windows 95 though.

broken sword one and two were awesome but then (like all things) the creators thought they would upgrade it and make it all 3D and keyboard controlled and to put it bluntly...it became shit and I just wish that people would make some good old fashion 2D pc games like toonstruck...ahh how I luved that game. I mean the stroylines are great in all of the BS games its just I hate the keyboard control concept it just isnt BS without the good old mouse control

well the story of toonstruck is about this comic creator that gets sucked into one of his own comics and has to try and get out with the help of one of his comic characters it really fun but I think you need a windows 98 to play or something ive lost my copy somwhere...

You can still play it. You have to select "Play under Windows 98" by right clicking and changing the properties or something to that extent.

on second thought... after installing BS again.. I might put the first 2 BS games a bit higher on my list >< too bad developers are messing their new adventures up a bit.. Monkey Island 4 kinda sucked, Broken Sword 3 and 4 sucked, the new Sam&Max episodes suck -_- *sigh* Lets send a email to Mr. Tim Shafer himself with allota signatures to beg for a new kickass adventure (in 2D) :D

Broken Sword 2...I tought it was crappy when I first played it. But I gave it another chance, and I lov this game! Even tough it has no fighting or anything, but its a very interesting game, it always makes you wonder, what will happen next? An I like the way you can analize everything. The whole thing was awsome, and the story also.
