You do know that Mr. Ashihara, Hideyuki the founder of Ashihara Sabaki and Mr. Ninomiya, Joko founder of Enshin Karate both trained in Kyoukushin Karate. That Mr. Ashihara trained under the founder of Kyokushin Karate Mr. Oyama, Masutatsu. Mr. Ashihara wound resign as a branch Chief of Kyokushin in 1980-81 to start his own style. And Mr. Ninomiya would also resign from Kyokushin to go with his Sensei and years later he would resign again to start this own style Enshin. Osu
@1banryukyu What the difference between enshin and kyokushin ? cause i did kyokushin for a two year as yellow belt but should been orange, i find enshin more street defense then anything i like that, but kyokushin is good but i feel like something is missing.
Ashihara Sabaki and Enshin Karate is about not being there to get hit. Working angles that put you in a position to strike or counter your enemy, so they can not strike you. You are correct Sir,they are more defensive styles. As you know since you have trained in Kyokushin, it is more about taking punishment and then giving it, to see who's will is stronger. Osu
There are books on Enshin Karate but the best thing to do is to train at a Enshin dojo. The main headquarters of Enshin is in Denver, Co. Contact info 4730 E. Colfax Ave. Denver, Co US 80220
On this video "Old Kyokushin" at 0:09 that is Mr. Ashihara kumite or sparring/teaching at his Kyokushin dojo and him doing tameshiwari breaking the blocks of ice with his foot. Osu

I have never seen a man actually charge toward a car that was trying to run him over before outside of the movies.

@LordRenning would be funny to see chubby Oyama in glasses driving that car.
