When do you apply the casing layer? After the block is fully colonized, or when you first inoculate?

We case immediately after the spawn run, otherwise you risk contamination, disorientation of the fungal cycle too if you wait too long. Good luck!

Can you describe the flavor of these? I've heard that some of these edible mushrooms taste like licorice and I hate licorice.
