ok but how do you record the video, if you hook it up to a pc you need a video capture card ? whats the max range, does the pilot have a reciever in his house ?

SD stands for Secure Digital. It is a type of memory. The camera a a mini digital video camera available on EBay manufactured by Silicon Valley Peripherals.
