It's nothing like doom or anything of that kind, I haven't played it for a while but I don't ever remember being on edge in any parts like I usually am on games like Doom, if there's any parts like that then there's very few and no where near as bad as Doom.
@jayyyyycob It isn't like Doom. You have an ability you can turn on at any time and pretty much run 24/7 that lights everything up and shows you where enemies are. Things rarely sneak up on you.
@Sorvos BS, I played the game my first runthrough on Uber and all I had to do was hit Mire and particle cannon the thing for like 1 second and it was dead. I was all "wtf that's it?!"
@Vidszhite I thought the only way to destroy him is to make him crush the 4 pillars. Are you sure you killed this one the conventional way? I doubt it.
@Vidszhite Sorry, I thought you reffered to the Altered. Yes, the particles cannon is the Despoiled's nemesis. But with conventional firepower, they don't die that easily and can chew quite good through you HP if they get close enough. Especially the red variants.
@Devslash I don't count the despoiled as a real boss either. I had the Particle Cannon out when I met him, pointed it at him for a fraction of a second, and he died. I was like "...that's it??" And to think that room gives you like 3 million bullets as if you're going to need them. You don't even need a full single magazine!

This scene reminds me so well of the Delta Labs 4 level in Doom 3, where two Hellknights come through the portal. Except that this guy is gross.
Anyway, Wolfenstein is still a great boss.

He's a normal enemy later in the game and he dies in a few seconds so I didn't count him as one.

The Despoiled dies in a few seconds if you use the particle cannon with the empower ability. Otherwise, it's not so easy to dispatch.
