so i went to great america yesterday and i was getting my face drawn and i asked the guy who worked there when invertigo would be opened again. he said that they dont know if theyre EVER going to open it again. they tried to find the problem but they couldnt. they had people from europe come to see the problem but they couldnt find it either, so now therye waiting to replace invertigo. hopefully stealth will come back.

@HmbGee I believe they're going to reopen it sometime late this summer. They have to have people come and inspect it and test it and stuff like that before they can reopen it. I'm practically certain it will be reopened because this coaster design is pretty common across the country. Discovery Kingdom's Boomerang coaster is the same as this only it's not suspended/inverted. For HmbGee, no it did not get stuck at the loop. It got stuck midway up the left lift hill.

Yeah, i got stuck on it too. Not on August 10th but a few days before i was stuck up 80ft in the air for 20 minutes. At least it wasn't for 4 hours but it was still very scary.

they removed the invertigo from Liseberg in sweden a couple of years ago and created Balder, a big wooden rollercoaster. Best thing that ever happen.

it's a great roller coaster...love how you end up backwards and forwards no matter where you sit...not scary ride unless its your first coaster but it does cause a head trip, a lot of dizziness but it's worth it. My only regret is that it's soooo short.
