sounds like sht needs exhaust upgrade bad, straight pipes on these cars can sound NaRleY. Sounds like a loco v8, mean bad smooth and rad.

I had the straight pipes on the car, had them for almost a year. Kinda hard to drive the car every day like that.

Its very loud!!!

The drone is horrible and talking on the phone was pointless and the radio was useless, the car is that loud without a muffler.

I have videos of it on here. check them out.

Now that I say how loud it is, the car is getting bypass pipes installed in a few weeks, this will allow me to run fully muffled or to open up the pipes for those days I dont mind the noise.

Its a beautiful noise just too loud for everyday use

That is when the car had straight pipes, it does sound amazing but it to loud to drive a 4000- 5000 rpms on the highway.

Thats why I am doing the cut outs, I can have that sound when I want it and turn it off when I dont

All the people who dis porsches are people that can't afford them.A Boxster S isnt far off the pace of a base 911.Boxster is built by people who know what they are on about,ie Porsche,the best selling car they have made,must be a reason, some say because its cheaper than a cayman or a 911 etc.a new boxster with optional extras can set you back £50,000,they aren't cheap.Just remember its got Porsche brakes and Porsche handling too.

Yes I love my '99 because it's a dead ringer for the 996 front, but a convertible...it's a great car to cruise around in the summer time...your videos always want to make me go and drive lol. I only have 5k miles a year on my black '99 hehe trying to keep it that way.

When I bought my Boxster I had it narrowed down between it and the S2000. The 2000 only has high end torque so you have to drive the thing like crazy. I like the low ,mid, and high level torque you get with the Porsche. Besides, what do you want to see sitting in your driveway, a Honda or a Porsche?

Each mod was about $8000

If you can pick up a used supercharger go for it, if you are going to but them new get the turbos the power delivery is amazing.

dude, by a used one and you don't have to make tons of money to buy it...just for the maintenance. just remember, oil changes are cheap at $120...but mostly cost around $250 from a porsche place. do it yourself can't get much cheaper than $80...but you only have to do it once a year.

then don't forget tires, tuning, and upgrades...can't live without them. then you'll want to race and autocross...helmet, more tires, roll bar extension, more tires, oil separator malfunction, maf and o2 sensors. it's a fun hobby.
