I seriously doubt today, that any country could invade the US and win. We'd have them on our radar so quick, the US Navy would be hammering their ass even before they left their harbor. And not to mention that the french resistance mostly had british SAS training. And yes , it would have been a problem but the US is an island and cut out from its biggest allies. But then again , crushing US in a single well coordinated strike wouldnt be so hard compared to occupying it.

@kill3456 Afghans managed to kill like 14 k of Soviet personell, while they ragheads themselves had around 200k - 1 million casualties. Just sayin'

Same argument that Americans give for Vietnam, casualties are one thing but when the enemy is able to replace those casualties the battles continue, and those battles cost money and supplies which effects industrial output which of course can really harm an economy.

Oh dear god... The French Resistance fucking muched the occupying germans. I think a foriegn army would have a hell of a problem trying to occupy the United States. But then again, the Soviets would've been fucked over at Lars in Germany even if they ever tried to push into Europe. Best Armour divisions in all of NATO right there, Canadian, German, British and American. The rest of the world really underestimates the United States, just watch, they still have fight in them.

@Testement117 The French resistance was crushed at many times but it emerged again many times because the Germans didnt establish a tyranny there , they were quite indulgent with them. And not to mention that the french resistance mostly had british SAS training. And yes , it would have been a problem but the US is an island and cut out from its biggest allies. But then again , crushing US in a single well coordinated strike wouldnt be so hard compared to occupying it.

When you look at the amount of gun owners in the US, and how many of them train weekly, some even daily at how to use their weapons effectively, and tie in a bunch of pointless diehard patriotism and stupidity you would think a "redneck" would stand a much better chance against a poorly fed and equipped conscript.
Not all gun owners are rednecks BTW.

@mattmickylad buddy sorry to dissapoint you but the soviet union was destinated to fall from the begin, they wanted to "supress" the social levels but that wasnt true they just reorganized them and also suppresed the religion that is 1 of the most important things that russia had, the ortodox catholic church, then check in what conditions your Soviet motherland had her sons, Now tell me do you still liking that mother russia? or you want a better russia buddy?
