I would say it's played backwards, but it is no beatles song I've ever heard. Also there is an instrumental part (a trumpet) from the Marks and Spencers food advert (Fleetwood Mac - Albartross) when I reversed the video. Strange... :/

The rest of it is random Beatles sampling with various effects added.

This could possibly be carnival of light, I mean part of it. For one look up revolution 9 its just like this and just as terrible. I've seen all of it along with a phsycadellic animation clip. This song was obviously unreleased for good reason. It also might just be revolution number nine but with another name and some different parts in it, and yes I realize benefite to mister kite backwards is in this, but thats how John Lennon recorded Revolution 9.

The "NOW" shout was merely copied from the 1964 Christmas message on this. That proves once and for all that this is fake, plus, there are sounds from "Mr Kite" played backwards. It's a fake, trust me.

I can hear parts of "Hello, Goodbye" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" coming through as well, most noticeably in the horn sections.

Also the vocal noises are obviously ripped from other Beatles songs and that sounds like a 1980s Roland synthesizer towards the end.

This version sounds the most legit of all the so-called versions out there. Was your dad a Brit? I used to work at Berklee College of Music in Boston over 20 years ago and my understanding was it was nearly impossible for a "Yank" to get in on a Beatles or Stones recording session for any reason.

Well, I know it's a fake, but I enjoyed it anyway. I thought it was weird and wonderful. One thing I know for certain, when John yells "NOW!!!!" at 0:16, that was from one of the first few Beatles Christmas greetings. He says, "now we'll turn it over to George.....NOW!!!" So, that I do know. Pretty pshychedelic. Kind of like the end of "Mole from the Ministry" by Dukes of Stratospher (XTC).

I did think this may have been real, but not after reading the description properly. Of course this could be the Beatles but just not Carnival of Light. The uploader's dad could well have been given this for real and he's not made it up himself, but if it is real what the hell is it?

This is probably the closest sounding fake to the carnival of light on youtube, but still not real. The song is described to have no real beat to it, and this one has a clear drum pattern.

If you go onto eshinerforest's channel and look at Carnival of Light Cover #2, that I think sounds more real than this.

That said, this particular one actually had me taken in briefly... it's pretty damn good!

Point is, as u may have guessed, if yr on-board with some of the wilder Beatles experiments already released, probably not much of anything should seem "too out there". With the Beatles, one becomes prepared for just about anything to happen in their music/sound. But, I guess George agreed with your original assessment, as he supposedly blocked this song's release on Anthology.

I have just listened to it again and I still don't like it and I'm still a huge Beatle's fan. Maybe the excerpt I'm listening to isn't doing justice. I like Revoltion #9. I just don't see where this would fit anywhere! it's nothing but a tape being played backwards with muffled noise. I'm being as honest as possible. I must be missing something other than the Beatles being labled on it.

Actually, there is a church organ in the real thing. That's what the descriptions say, at least.

As I say, I think this could be real; it's definitely the closest to the description I've ever heard but still isn't quite right.
