@hkin8 so you don't want your skew pacers to be compared to the bay versions? I sincerely hope my skew stock will race competitively amongst the plain old bays. With Christian Cullen as her second sire she stands a fair chance of being competitive
@TheNessieMonstah ,Of course it would be nice to see skews being competitive with the plain horses and they are , put not with the elite bay ones it will take 20 years or more for that ,around 2 mins is a great time for a skew , tracks aren"t near as good here as they are down under and the good weather ye have as well, I"d say you could add about 5 seconds on to there times if they were to run over here ,archipenko is a great skew if he was down under under he would be fastest skew in the world
@hkin8 I can understand your comments re the track quality, as there is even variation here between tracks, some significantly quicker than others. Hopefully here we will see some good coloured stock on the track in the next few years as Tomahawke, (Christian Cullen-Splashed), has been standing at stud for a couple of seasons now. I have a filly by him, out of a coloured mare, now a short yearling. I can't wait to see them out on raceday :)
this coloured horse defintly could have broke 2 minutes in this race if he hadnt been trailing 10 yards and got hindered at the half mile mark ; great horse ; and stallon ;;;;;;
Lovely pacer & good win...But what a run by the second horse...

Who Gives a toss, or Whowho gives a toss? This horse's best mile rate down under is recorded as 2.01.8
That's not even a great time for a TROTTER, let alone a PACER.
