Yes, these Lexingtons have a powerful sound. Is yours a two or

three tier stack? Mine is a two tier, and I ground out the insides

of every unit to the max , for much more relief in action, plus PVC

washers on the valves with largest holes possible. They really

snap, for such small units. I can still footpump mine also. Check

out my 88n rolls.

Yes this is wonderful piece....I imagine playing it on a grand in a big setting like Macy's or something....just a dream of course...but that's what these give me. Thanks.

Thanks. I think it sort of like warm coffee and velvet. It is a complex and rich, yet very mellow sound.
