  • Love this track, got this on blue one sided 12" way back, prob 20 years now, I have a feeling this mix (as in the track) was done by the Orb but can't remember, I'm gonna have to dig this bad boy out again, that and Step in Time by Man Machine....ah good times :0)

  • @MrToosox yes it's from The Orb

  • Gracias por compartir JOYAS como esta - Northern Exposure.

    Gran trabajo.

  • Favourite dj mix ever!

  • Words can't explain how good this track is.

  • Still my favourite album ever, don't know how many times i played this to go to sleep to -lots

  • what a start too a journy if only they came along like ths still instead we get the like of tiesto and so on ,,,,,hey dont get me wrong there good but there just not in the same league in my eyes

  • still have this album, best 20$ i ever spent

  • @meatpuppet76 same dude, couldn't agree more

  • ive been listening to this for over 13yrs, mix with GOD WITHINS song RAINCRY ,,, sooooooo amazing,, try it ,

  • Keiichi Suzuki is awesome! I love this song.^^

  • Best start to the best dance CD to ever be constructed!

  • This makes me cry because it takes me back to the days of no worries and life was easy with no stress, just friends a bong and big jamo speakers!!!

  • @RyanEss08 exactly. this is all the more better because it's beneath the radar.

  • That's because nowadays people have been infected with Thatcher and so have SHIT FOR BRAINS!

  • Back in the days when DJs played at a rate of 5 tunes to the hour - ahhh we had it easy back then.

  • @MassimoConnolli

    seriously. EPIC HOUSE. :))))

  • without a single doubt still the best dance music complimation ever mixed and made, the mix before underworld dark and long kicks so much arse, any dj knows that is a absolute seamless mix

  • I love that guitar melody. Great mix. Good to find it on youtube.

  • PERFECTION!

  • One of the best EDM songs of all time. Thanks for the up!

  • i don't know why but i just can't stop listening to it

  • Im silenced..

Superb track..9.42 mins of pure bliss..And when the beat kicks in..wow..

    Thanks SK..

  • The best, when it kicks my ears tell me to listen not hear ................

  • this is beautiful and remiscent of classic Led Zeppelin with an electronic touch - love it :)))

  • This EP changed the way I produced and DJ'd from that point on. Complicated, Spooky, Dark, Uplifting all at once.

  • where is the sample where the man is talking about the trans amazonian highway?"which is nothing more than a very long, single track dirt road"?

  • @re99volt The man talking was David Attenborough, mentioning the Trans-Amazonian Highway, and sampled from one of his wildlife programs. This version is shorter than the 10:40 one on Northern Exposure, so I would guess the talky bit at the beginning has been edited out...

  • This is remix by The Orb

  • interesting!

  • this track touches my soul.. actually the whole Northern Exposure.. love it!

  • Breathtakingly beautiful track - and Northern Exposure a classic album.

  • i am absolutely stunned by this---oh my god!! 5/5

  • One of the best ambient/deep tunes I have see.

  • Still have the original on vinyl :O

  • 6:33 is pure genius. It's moments like that that separate the wheat from the chaff.

  • I have had a go at remixing this. I have uploaded it for anyone who want's to hear it.

Be kind though, im no expert or anything

Just thought there could do with more versions of this in the world. Classic tune, I have the vinyl along with the rest off the NE series, pure class!!

  • Ah the Nothern Exposure mix. I have so many Progressive House, Progressive Trance records. I have too many to name. But above and all Its always This mix and Nothern Exposure East Coast Cds that always get me. You can hear it in the mix. JD and Sash took their time. A lot of mixes now start off good but get boring in the middle of the set. These guys did it and kept the music interesting. When JD and Sasha Mix they are unpredictable. Other Djs you kinda know where the mix is going.

  • sure id love to hear your mix, How can I get it ?

  • Im not sure what you are implying.

  • Great. Still own and remember buying it on 12'' all those years ago. Saturday mix features the orb and david attenbrough.

  • this is great

  • definitely a classic, and so is the whole set. one of my first electronica CDs i ever brought way back then.

  • great tune! great album!

  • Great tune. Isn't this a remix by The Orb? It is at least on the unofficial release Morphology.

  • its from 1994, i have the original records. mixmaster moriis played this tune at the boat party in gent

  • I've got the CD single, and the original mixes are very nice too. I'll upload.

  • This mix was so Organic, fresh and not trying to be flashy. Its classical trance imo. The begining of the millenium started off well with dance mixes but towards the end of the forst decade a lot of dance music has been just average. 90s dance music was the best. You feel the club vibe listening to this

  • thnx 4 post

    great tune

    4evah.

  • i really don't understand how an awesome track like this only gets 1500 views in 6 months meanwhile a track from pussycat dolls or timbaland or whateva gets hundreds of thousands views in days. This world is FUBAR :P

  • No the words are advertising and hype

  • Comment removed

  • @dvdtheone because its underground dance music, and it should be kept that way,

  • @dvdtheone just shows the mentality of the internet.

  • @dvdtheone its called popular culture my friend, its a shame the way things are, most people have no clue of decent music and many others just dont give a fuck. cest la vie

  • listening to this i feel transported back too the time when music was good very good.

alot of time and effort has gone into producing such a classic track unlike these day's they stick anything in the chart's too make cash BRING BACK THE 90'S FOR FUCK SAKE.

  • @dildoenforcer amen sir

  • is this the same keichi suzuki who did the music for EarthBound? my ears say yes

  • 1996? crazy it still dont sound dated

  • Well done for uploading this :-) great tune from one of the best mixes of all time imo .

  • this is a fookin humdinger

  • totally amazing piece of music that sends shivers down your spine and takes you on a journey of wonder, the 90's electronica scene was something else unlike now where it's the same dance tune churned out over & over again

  • Amazing track, the guitar in the beginning is so beautiful; I wish it was in the whole song

  • great tune this. love it. cheers for putting it up.

  • Not many people know this tune...one of the best from Northern Exposure which in itself was not that popular in 1996...WHY? It has to be the single most forward looking progressive mix of our times - Sasha and Digweed at their ultimate best ;)

  • Too right - gave this CD to a girl I was with at the time and regretted ever since. Thanks for posting it up drtraktor88
