swivel cords keep the cord out of the way ad allow for the cord not to tangle bc it moves with your movement and that prolongs the life of your flat iron...no swivel cord means you cannot curl and you have a hard time even straightening because instead of using your flat iron to style your hair, you wind up using your cord

I have a GHD and thinking about getting the sedu but I mean I have super kinky hair and i just dont get why people with already straight hair, flat iron their hair

What kind of hair do you have (thick, fine, normal)? I'm curious because I'm stuck between CHI and Sedu... CHI has only one heating setting and I have fine/normal hair so I don't know if it'll damage it at 410 degrees.

thanks youu :] and i use chi silk infusion and the chi 44 iron guard before i straighten my hair. plus, i use the sedu straightener everyday and it has ceramic plates. that combination makes my hair really silky.
