Nike have shot themselves in the foot badly. If they had mass produced these for $2-300 a pair, all the fans globally would be over the moon, Nike would have had huuuuge exposure with people wearing them, and ultimately they would have made just as much money, if not more.

As much as I fully support their excellent fund raising for Fox, they have gone about this completely the wrong way. The REAL fans simply can't afford these and planks like Tinie Tempah will end up getting them all and simply displaying them instead of wearing them and truly appreciating them for more than 5minutes and just boasting about how they have a pair.
