This nonsense about the DPF, ALL Euro 4 and 5 now have DPF's fitted and they do exactly what they are designed to do! All you have to do is do a run at over 50MPH for a distance and its clears it. The reason is a DPF is supposed to stop unburnt diesel particulates at low heat polluting your kids, as around town journeys do on "normal" non DPF diesels.

I just had my mazda 6 2005 model at the workshop for rust treatment, they gave this Nissan Qashqai as a rental.

First thing i noticed was when i moved my child chairs, was that there is no ankor points behind the Qashqai rear seats. When i stubbed my fingers betwen the seats, I notice the back was built up with this kind of styrofoam they use in rear bumpers.

So i had to use both of my child seats with out ankor points, and its such is a dreadful familie car.

Warning before buying (diesel) read up on DPF problems, its almost like Nissian is selling this car not fit for purpose, be aware if just driving short journeys this car is not for you, if Nissian tell you they have done a fix on the DPF problem, this fix just makes the problem turn up after a longer period.

It is tight in the 3rd row if you are an adult;legroom is horribly tight.

It's a poor imitation of an MPV;the legroom in the two occasional rear seats is horribly cramped and tight and bootspace goes when they're in use-it just doesn't work. You'd be better off with a LR Disco3 which can easily take 7 adults without the discomfort of poor legroom.
