i think onions were not minced well.. also you should buy a yoghurt from a market put some garlics in a mortar with a pinch of salt, crush the garlics and add them to the yoghurt.. serve the manti with that yoghurt and add pepper+butter mixture on top of it.. still yours looks yummy too
nice :-) i love manti, i had eatened that while on vacation in istanbul turkey, though i"m not turkish that is one of my favorite dishes. The ladies and grandma's over there really made it well thanks for posting.
my mother in-law put the manti in the oven also. It crisped the manti up a bit so they didn't get so mushy when you boiled it. Also, the manti freezes better that way. She used chicken broth and then added the garlic sauce, it was very good. I think you did admirably, You can also use won tons if you're in a pinch for time, a little crisper texture.
I went Turkey learn to make by my friend mom she did thsi so well , and i like it better used with out yougert I liek with salca and chickpeas anyway this is good guide to help get close to it , but not sure y she put in oven first ? I was shown to put in pot unless freezeing them
Soğanların rendelenmesi lazım.Öyle bütün bütün olmaz.İnsanın ağzına gelir diri diri.Ama yinede aferin kıza .Benim hatunda becerikli.O hiç dansetmez böyle . :-)
by the way we cooked manti in the class as part of learning language in class activity within the issue of corporate entertaining .. take care anyway.. keep smiling Turan from Turkey
That was well worth. I was surprised to hear it from someone who is not Turkish but i guess every culture has similar tastes like Manti. Thankfully we, in Turkey, mostly dont bother to make the preperation part at home. we buy it ready and just boil and add sauce etc. ...i wish you could show the way you make your sauce and final stages...anyway maybe next time....
This video is great! I have three favorite parts. First, when you start mixing the ingredients. That looks pretty hot. Then, I like the dancing. But the part I like best is the whole second half where you talk for a long time. It's very calming and makes me happy. Thanks!
It is pronunced Manti not manta (: I sound in the can be hard to pronunce..

You really need to do it with homemade yogurt. It has a VERY different (and MUCH tastier) flavor than store bought yogurt. + it's so easy to make :P
