@27natal Não é bem assim; a velocidade do aparelho é muito importante. Só a cerca de 250 km/h o sistema aerodinâmico do avião permite que ele abandone a pista e se faça ao espaço aéreo. O problema nesta manobra (para além do sangue frio), é não descer a velocidade do aparelho para níveis que possam fazer o avião perder altura, o que a cerca de 25 - 30 metros do solo, seria fatal.

Just to clarify to those that don't know. This manouver was tested more than 100 times in a simulator. The wing is never 2 or 3 meters near the ground as said, it's an illusion, if you see it again, you'll notice that it's a small hill where he turns. The plane was perfectly safe all the time and this manouver was made by the book by one of the best pilots in the world (that happens to be Portuguese, Cmd. César Brito).

Never one single person was in danger as the flight was perfect as planned.

A sorte não tem nada a ver aqui. Isto chama-se saber pilotar, coisa que os pilotos da TAP sabem e bem. Considero-os os melhores em tudo e não é por ser portugues. Já vooei em outras companhias e as aterragens e descolagens por amor de Deus não têm nada a ver. Fui para a República Dominicana em 2010 e tinha algum receio devido a poços de ar bastante frequentes especialmente perto do triangulo das bermudas mas apesar de 10h de viagem foi a mais calma que tive e a aterragem nem a senti.

Minha mãe trabalhou na TAP de 1999 a 2005 pilotando o A319 e A320. Hoje ela trabalha na TAM pilotando o 777 de Sp/Lisboa Lisboa/Milão. Minha mãe é piloto de avião. Hoje tem 43 anos e pilota desde os 28 anos,ela é melhor do que muito homem por aí,viu? Ela já recebeu novamente proposta da TAP em 2008 e 2009 mais não quis ir mais pelo fato da TAP querer que ela pilote 5X na semana entre Lisboa a SP num A340. Na tam São 3x na semana e ganha o dobro.

@Destroyed666Doom Não foi no norte, foi em Évora ... estive lá e posso-te dizer que foi o ponto alto do espectáculo ... eu estava na zona reservada que por sinal ficava mesmo no ponto onde o avião faz a tal volta apertada. Aquela asa esquerda esteve a uns 2...3 metros do chão, e a asa até chegou a entrar em ressonância (tremer). Como tinha acesso as comunicações, ouvi a torre a avisar do estar tão baixo e notou-se que o piloto "meteu pé direito". Já o ano passado os espectáculos foram fraquitos

Não foi a abilidade do piloto que permitiu essa manobra mas sim as condições atmosféricas. Bastava uma pequena turbulência junto à pista para que o resultado da manobra tivésse sido desastrosa. Mesmo a curva com o avião inclinado a baixa altitude sobre a população foi arriscada pois mesmo em condições de ventos moderados existem turbulências junto à superfícia do terreno que podem causar perdas inesperadas de altitude. Ele pilotou o A310 como se este fosse um caça - demsiado arriscado.

Just a slightly wind gust or wind shear might cause the wingtip to touch the ground with an even more spectacular [disastrous] outcome. That was an unnecessary risky manoeuvre too close to the ground. Even during airshows safety should be of primary concern.

@bumpa25 O facto de não haver vento torna a coisa mais perigosa. Mais vento, mais sustentação é criada nas asas, leis da aerodinamica (principio de bernoulli).

Turbulencia é perigosa e é criada por montanhas, grandes variações de temperatura em curtos espaços ( inversões térmicas), em caso de existencia de nuvens tipo cumulonimbus, ou aeroportos com muito movimento, a turbulencia provocada por grandes aviões.

Estude e informe-se, caso seja piloto.... muito boa sorte para a sua vida.

Eles para fazer este tipo de acrobacias desligaram os limitadores do avião, pois este avião é dotado para fazer voos com passageiros logo o sistema do avião não permite fazer este tipo de acrobacias obviamente.

Depois a cena da asa estar perto do chão está perfeitamente controladissima pelo altimetro do avião...
