the one singing there isn't Chico Science, this is, "Jorge du Peixe" (he was a member of the original formation, playing the "Alfaia", an percussion instrument, but when Chico died, he substituted him at the vocals)...the first version was composed by Jorge Mautner and Gilberto Gil, it was an MPB/Bossa Nova song. Chico's version is a "Manguebeat" song (musical movement born in the 90's on Recife-PE, which mixed "Maracatu" with rock and hip hop).
...Dear Ayrton you amazed an entire generation and more as far as I can see, You helped your people not only giving them good moments of racing, but also building schools, hospitals and other facilities. My country suffered so much also because you died here, in Italy, a country you always loved and that loved you, in a track you always appreciated and where you won several times. As Viviane told you before the race, God was gonna give you the greatest gift, God itself.
All i can say about him is that he was a great inspiration for us all and one of the best f1 racers this world can offer we will never forget you Senna! and this song its great as well it really reminds me of him
i was 12 when he died, and i remember all the grown ups were sad that day, even here where i live...then i saw this movie and only now i understand how great he was....RIP Senna, amor e respeito da Sérvia...
beautiful song, shows Ayrton at his best - his unique and flowing style... Possibly the best film I've seen all year. Gave me the chills just like his driving did all those years ago
@selamant I presume it would be, I got it off amazon , which has the same mp3's as iTunes, but are usually cheaper on price. the film's official twitter confirmed the release, and the version off the amazon site is the exact same version played in the video, so i would presume it would be the same on iTunes :).
when I saw the movie in the cinema I was very thankful for this song at the end it let me calm down a bit after sennas last two laps and the funeral brought me very close to tears...
Can't begin to explain how amazingly done this documentary is. Asif Kapadia, take a bow mate. I started following F1 the year after he died and never got to see his races. Watching this documentary helped me appreciate his greatness. Just fantastic. I always say you can judge a man's greatness by the number of people crying at his funeral and you could see the millions in Sao Paulo.
Just amazing. If anyone hasn't seen it, they should. Even if you don't know anything about F1.
NEWS FLASH: i just came back from karting and i won when i win i listen to this song or the credits song to the movie and look at Senna on wikipedia i just realised i was born on the same day as him 21st of march thats an omen i have to get to f1 if you know someone who runs a company please tell me about them maybe i will be the new senna i have never lost a race since i started

@second0stage0cro I totally agree. I found some of the music earlier in the film a bit heavy, as if it was trying to say that he had a tragic life, which is untrue; it was tragically cut short.
Esse filme é muito bom! Quando tocou essa musica no final ainda ficou show!

Look for Chico Science. He was a famous artist from Brazil and ironically, died in a tragic car accident too.

The composer is Antonio Pinto. Don't know about the artists on the track. Rocks though.
