There is a technique called Short-wave-dashing, it's like your Pivot Grab technique, except it's shorter, and can be mastered with all the characters, and it's a aerial move! This will launch you in the air in a arc position if done correctly, do a Pivot Grab and jump at the right timing, if your opponent(s) is trying to hit you when you trying to pull this off, use a aerial dodge when your character is in mid air, if done perfectly, you'll be sent to the other side of the stage. It's true.

dashing Pivot grab slide works on a few chars. Ones I know are falco, fox, captain falcon, pikachu and marth. These dash pivot grab slide effects are very useful

It's funny, G&W's pivot grab even slides a little, but the wavegrab is just a complete momentum stop...weird.

My first impression was that snake had the best one but I guess wavegrabbing doesn't apply momentum the way boost-smashing does.

Or you can just simultaneously smash the control stick in the direction your facing, the c-stick in the opposite direction and z to do an instant pivot grab, which is useful for about everyone, since pivot grab has longer range than regular grab. But that doesnt give you a slide.

yes he can, its just not useful with him, not every chracter slides with it, fox by far has the best advantage, and ppl like lucas and toon link with ranged grabs are useful also..

i got a move as wolf where you run, put up your sheild and grab. And what happens is that if it's done right, you grab the player and slide. If you throw while you slide at 80-100% damage, it's like a homerun bat. It hasn't failed me yet.
