I watched this back in the 90's, and it's still shown on TV every day here.

What I like most about Xena was, it was a comedy at heart. It never took itself seriously, and was a playful show. The chemistry between Xena and Gabrielle is the strongest I have seen.

i really love that out of all the classic series they have tried to remake (buffy, 91210 sex and the city etc) they have never really tried to remake or make anything similar to xena and hercules! keeps them special! :)

like many others i used to watch this on channel 5 then they stopped showing it and another channel started so i used to watch fort boyard and this! :)

however its only now i realise how funny some of the "stunts" are! lol

Here in Greece, Xena was our favourite serial.... First of all because it refered to the period of Ancient Greece and secondly because our channels used to show it again and again. And I agree that the first seconds with bagpipes and the Poseidon are EPIC.

@loonyravenclaw A part of me really, really wants this! But, another part of me knows that the idiots in charge of making the Xena movie would ruin it and disappoint us loyal Xena fans. These days the remakes people keep making really suck. I don't know if I'll be able to handle a terrible version of Xena. A fine example of this would be what DC comics is doing to it's heroes. Could you really stand to see that happen to Xena?

My brother bought me the DVD set of season one for Easter. He asked me what I wanted since I got him something he wanted and I said whatever (though mentioned Vampire Diaries season one). When he pulled Xena out instead, I was even happier than I would've been if I had gotten Vampire Diaries. Xena has always been my favorite show from the 90's! And Hercules!
