Cheryl looks like a tranny here! Not keen on this one. It's alright, but v. sugary, not a patch on their output from the Are You Ready and Hand Cut era, and Shelley only performed a couple of Jay's previous vocals in live shows, didn't she, like Thief In The Night. Can't visualise her doing Easy Love or Getting Kinda Lonely.
aaaah i love this song Cheryl's voice is lovely, mind you i'm biased A MASSIVE BUCKS FIZZ FAN , actually an Abba fan as well so yeah Agnetha's voice and version good , BUT this the better version!!!!!
This video is actually playing the original recording of the song from 1985, when Jay Aston was still a member, so shelly is miming to a song she is not singing in at all. However in 1986 it was rerecorded with her voice in there, but that one wasn't released until the 2004 CD release of the Album.
Was going to be actually but after the charting of some of the others from their album the record company didn't want to release it - pity it's one of my favourites.
Bucks Fizz version was in 1986, Agnetha's was in 1987. Both are good but the Fizz one is my personal favourite and should have been released as a single.. always thought so.
wow I didn't know Agnetha's version was as cover. I do like Agnetha's version the most but this one is good too. Thanks for posting.

Yep, this version smashes the ABBA wannabee by Agnetha, but glad she saw what a great song this Fizz classic is!!
Hi, try comparing that to the fantastic version by Agnetha Faltskog from her 'I Stand Alone' album.

I think this girl is serenading me.
I love how this song is so 80's.

I like both versions, Agnetha's voice is the best, but I have a soft spot for this one, so stop slagging each one off, each to their own.

Cheryl Baker's vocal ability during the chorus on this track is awesome. Better than Agnetha' version because of this!

I actually really like the version of this that Shelley Preston has covered with Cloudfish. Made it really modern and funky.

It was "Love The One Your With" that was put out as a single instead which i don't think was no where near as good.

Bucks Fizz is the best version. This should of been a single.

I kinda really like this version. Rich sound, with a wee bit more of that 80's edge. Great chorus... very nice indeed.
Right then... Shelley Preston: Christina Applegate meets Samantha Fox? Yes? No? Maybe I need my eyes checked. :)
Anyway, thanks for a very enjoyable video. Now, I must watch it again... and then again... and then probably again...

@StarbeastHive True but Agnetha is a cover - this was written for Bucks Fizz....

I´m schocked!!! What have they done to that fantastic song from Agnetha?
Cheryl Baker can not reach Agnetha´s clear, crystal voice.
