the phrygian thing keeps dragging my ear back to Powerslave era Iron Maiden (her too from the sound of the mix and saturated reverbs all over it)

it's sad, because...this MIGHT have been the best track on the disc if they'd stripped it down to bare essentials (like they did on the song Probably Will) and THEN used this super-saturated sound as a bridge...or outro. but the way it is here, its kitchen sink tone and a section that's repeated 2 too many times.
