Well, with the 300 dollars one would've paid for 300 songs on iTunes, I could've downloaded 999 songs on zune and kept them for 300/14.99 = 20 months = almost 2 years. Mind you the fact I could download another 999 everyday.

Not entirely true, Your songs are still yours, but they're locked in with a DRM. So, you can listen to them on your Zune, but that's about it. Unless you want to illegally remove the DRM [which I fully support ;)] that is.

People aren't understanding this concept, its pretty simple. The 10 you choose to keep forever are not DRM'd. They are 320 KBPS MP3.

So you download like crazy all month long and then at the end of the month choose 10 you love, and download them in MP3 (all included in the price). If you want more than 10, you can buy more of course. Its amazing - and legal!!!

yes they DO work. all you need is a mp3player like the creative zen mozaic who support wma drm 9 - and you are ready to go. the only thing is that you are not able to sync the creativ with the zune SW - but you can do that with the media player or winamp - you can listen the songs also with this software. ;)

I just got a Zune Pass and friken love it! I doubled my collection in 2 days to 2300 songs! I haven't had very many problems with songs not being availble, just Led Zeppelin and Metallica, and I can just Limewire for those; and its the artists choice to put their songs on the pass, dont blame zune.
