Wheeling kinda sucks but it used to be booming back in the 80's and such. It's kinda cool though how I can live in Ohio and go to WV in 5 mins. I dont really like living in the Ohio Valley, but could be better, could be worse.
yeah.seeing that up till before they stuck 470 up to it.i always wondered how the hell did they get it there.but i saw how they get bridges to places on history channel.Amazing how they do that.

i remember when that bridge was just sitting alone with out a road to get to it.and it was blue and 470 wasn't finished yet.

After crossing the bridge, we took Exit 5 toward the Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum. That is really a great treasure of West Virginia!!

Same here - grew up near Sherrard back in the '70s... we never thought they'd get it done. Always joked about the "Bridge to Nowhere".
Haven't been back there since '82, so it's a bit surreal to watch a video of people driving across it 30 years later...
