@musicwithin43 it is definitely harder (I play both). Still, Poor fingering choice, bad vibrato, and bad intonation just aren't acceptable on any instrument especially string instruments. I have played the melody on cello many times before, and I sound good enough. Just some advice, use a reference pitch while practicing

On the chorus try holding the notes longer and not cut them off. Also try to play with a straight bow. My teacher used to get at me everyday because i didn't play with straight bows. It will make the tone quality much better And also when playing open A try putting a little less pressure on the bow so it doesn't squeak.

yehh i play the cello too.. nd man ur holding ur bow wrong, kindah was bothering me. && sortah ease up on pressing down so hard when ur doing vibrato. and also u were outta tune some. && try playing closer to the bridge, not so close to the finger board.

I lost the cello sometimes. And I'm not sure which one held the melody. But that was the only thing that I didn't like. I think it should have been going a little faster donno it just seemed to...slow for me...

Ok. Well, first of all, the dude playing the cello, you need to raise your elbow higher. Second, the guy playing the electric guitar needs to do something about how he plays-there's just something about how he's playing that doesn't thrill me, and sometimes it seemed like he was just playing a totally different tune. The guy playing the acoustic was OK-I guess... Third, you need to work on timing. So, sorry to say it, but I didn't like it at all. . . o.O
You with the cello. Move towards the bridge, and bring your elbow up more so that you can get your fingers and posistioning in the right place. Shifting can use some work too.
keep it up. i suggest checking your bridge though, or just the tuning, if the bridge is a bit off it can make things sound out of tune. but besides that it was a good job all round
hey nice work with the cello the guitar need to work on it more be more creative, and also for the cello check your intonation on your higher positions and work a little bit more on your vibrato.

i concur with azn n jut, also flatten ur wrist, n to help with the intonation, play chords whenever you can during practice. you should be able to tell whats right and whats not. when you had the melody, i couldn't hear you too well, play more towards the bridge and really try to get a good connection with your right hand - helps ur tone. also work on your vibrato whenever you get the chance.
Sorry dude, i play the cello and performed a concert with canon. You're not that good. The cello part is suppose to be smooth and connected you make it choppy. And don't use a harmonic, bad sound. Also you play really flat. Which means bring your fingers down, especially in high position. sorry man, 1/5. Also raise elbow, that will help you play in the higher position, that's why you play out of tune. Sorry if i sound harsh, i just hope you can do better.

The cello really makes this sound horrible. It's eight simple notes for that instrument and it carries the whole piece.

You with the cello. Move towards the bridge, and bring your elbow up more so that you can get your fingers and posistioning in the right place. Shifting can use some work too.

on the cellist,i suggest you practice on the vibrato..i think it would be better if the guitarist would use plucking...remove the electric guitar..

That was really good, just work on your intonation, and cello play a little slower. keep the same rhythm. :-)

keep it up. i suggest checking your bridge though, or just the tuning, if the bridge is a bit off it can make things sound out of tune. but besides that it was a good job all round

to the guy on the cello, work more on your intonation as well as your vibrato. put some feelings on your playing too.

hey nice work with the cello the guitar need to work on it more be more creative, and also for the cello check your intonation on your higher positions and work a little bit more on your vibrato.

Wow! Pachabel sounds so different with guitars! Reminds me of the time a friend of mine looped me into playing the "William Tell Overture" with his metal band. Good job guys.

cello man! hello. yea, i agree the others (whom are probably cello players as well as i) that playing harmonic A isnt the greatest idea ever. and you're intonation, not the best ever. i dont mean this to insult you or anything. you guys are good, but keep working on the cello part. and bring the elbow up, it should help with the higher notes.

i concur with azn n jut, also flatten ur wrist, n to help with the intonation, play chords whenever you can during practice. you should be able to tell whats right and whats not. when you had the melody, i couldn't hear you too well, play more towards the bridge and really try to get a good connection with your right hand - helps ur tone. also work on your vibrato whenever you get the chance.

Sorry dude, i play the cello and performed a concert with canon. You're not that good. The cello part is suppose to be smooth and connected you make it choppy. And don't use a harmonic, bad sound. Also you play really flat. Which means bring your fingers down, especially in high position. sorry man, 1/5. Also raise elbow, that will help you play in the higher position, that's why you play out of tune. Sorry if i sound harsh, i just hope you can do better.

i wouldn't play the high A as a harmonic. I tried to play it, too and the change of position is worth its difficulty^^
