Very nicely presented. I like your detailed descriptions of your painting technique. I am not as patient using Photoshop to paint with, I use Corel Painter and take my paintings into Photoshop for final effects. Great painting!

for those who are saying that tracing and eyedropping is cheating, well it's really about opinion cause the fact is, both are just tools of an artist. yes it makes the job easier but it doesnt make the artist better or worser. there just tools.

Nice video.

However using the eyedropper tool to select the exact colors from the original image is kind of cheating and won't help you progress as an artist.

very nice job, i prefer the painterly look alot more than perfect realism. regardless of what try this is at doing it, it is vry nice.

the way you make the painting and the issues that you touch upon are very nice and a good instruction on how to deal with a painting. especially dealing with the piece in an all over blocky progress. since i am a detail person that is usually difficult.

this is actually a new style i am trying.. my style is very photorealistic actually, this is more painterly.. i guess i just look at a picture, devise some steps to art it and let my creative juices flow.. thanks!!
