Of course, sanctions won't hurt those asses who are sitting pretty in Dubai, or Canada (e.G. Delta4ms) who pretend to represent "the people" and are calling for them.

But sanctions won't hurt the regime, on the contrary, the people will be united against the foreign powers.

Btw., Syria can easily sell her oil to the Chinese (they are waiting for it), and buy her arms there. As for the rest, Syria is more or less self sufficient.
