  • “Hope has two beautiful daughters: their names are anger and courage. Anger that things are the way they are. Courage to make them the way they ought to be.” -Saint Augustine

  • Beautiful video. This is very cutting edge, keep up the good work you two! Euthanasia is no ones dream death, no matter the pain and agony; What we all want is to heal, not to end life... To end the pain is not to choose suicide, nor to allow humans to choose the time of our death. That is Gods job.

  • When you suffer too much in your body and in your head, when life becomes hellish because the disease is the only thing you think every day. This disease takes and steals the rest of your life and your physical abilities. When the disease invades your body without hope of recovery. Euthanasia is then the key issue and not a suicide.

I'm for euthanasia when there is no escape or hope.

Personally, I'm ready and it will be coming soon .... finally!

  • i think euthanasia as an option is important. after all. u r taking control of this major event of ur life that everyone must experience at sometime.

having said that, im glad to c young pple thinking deeply abt such issues.

  • Mercy killing, or euthanasia is an dangerous idea and should never be a loved, because it is, in reality impossible to administer.

In a time of economic crisis, massive cut down on the public health care sector, hospitals, euthanasia will be misused on patients that is regarded as not valuable on the labour market. Especially old people will be “euthanized” by the doctors for economic and resource viewpoints. But also long time unemployed, people on sick pensions, homeless and groups a like.

  • Two years ago, my father died. The night of his death, he slipped into a coma from which he would never wake up. My mother and I both knew he would have refused being kept on life support, as there is no point in living if you can't do anything. When the doctors knew his time was done, they pulled the plug. Tell me, do you think it would have been more painful for us to have him die, or go into the hospital for many visits, begging him, crying, wanting him to wake up and see us again?

  • @UrbaDerpal Do you think my father would have wanted to stay alive in a state where he can't kiss his own wife, can't hug his own son, comfort him to tell him he will be alright?

  • You know. Life is just too precious too be taken lightly... Everything is about preserving life and euthanasia just goes against all this effort...

  • google Doe's Account, mindblowing.

  • if i'd be dying, & all of my posibilities of survival or recovery are diminished, when there is nothing left to do, if i know that i'm going to die or stay stranded in a bed for the rest of my short life, i don't see the problem in accelerating my death to avoid the torcher of living as a veg or suffer the long term pain.

  • Glad to see the Jesus fan club is still making logical arguments.

  • hehe!

  • That is b#^#$%^ since the patient said that he want the euthenasia lets respect them and help them o die with dignity...

  • so you're saying that if they truely want it, then the doctors should abide by their wish and give them the euthanasia?

  • hottsk8erchick11 yes...

  • In the story of Ramón Sampedro: His argument hinged on the fact that he was sure of his decision to die. However, owing to his paralysis, he was physically unable to commit suicide without help. He argued that suicide was a right that he was being denied, and he sought legal advice concerning his right to receive assistance to end his life, first in the courts of Spain, where his case attracted country-wide attention.

  • You've heard of Dr. Kavorkian(?) right? He wasn't put in jail for participating in PAS. He was put in jail because he had to physically give the patient the drug that would kill him. He got the patient ON TAPE saying "THIS IS WHAT I WANT". But at the last minute, the patient was unable to drug himself ergo he had to do it. Once he did that though, it wasn't suicide. It became homicide.

  • Hello people a soul is reffering to a person..have you heard the terms: A living soul? or 7 souls died that day..it's reffering to the person itself not a seperate entity go to school research. You die that's it you are no longer aware of anything.

  • UHM. Well, if that were the case, then there would be no such thing as ghosts now would there? No there wouldn't because "a soul is referring to a person". BUT: ghosts are SOULS wandering the earth unable to move on. Back to the subject of suicide though...when someone commits suicide, it's because they have a troubled soul. For some people, there will be no peace until their soul is freed.

  • there is no such things as ghost, do you have any hard evidence of that?

people tend to choose there beliefs rather than the truth......

  • And for those that aren't in a coma, but are in SOOO much pain it's unbearable, why make them suffer? People say to let them live their last days living life to its fullest, but can they really do that if they're in pain? It's torture. And there are others that say that euthanasia goes against medical ethics, but aren't doctors supposed to do what's best for their patients? Is it best to make them suffer even when death is at the end of the tunnel anyway?

  • but it's NOT the doctor's right to END someone's life because in the first place he did not created that LIFE!

God made it, God will take it away.

That is why it is a sin.

    Euthanasia is a sin.

  • Thats the thing. doctors dont technically give the medcine that takes the patients life, they provide it to the patient and the patient gives it to themself. aka: Physician-Assisted SUICIDE. the doctor may not have the right to take the patients life, but the patient has the right to die.

  • I totally disagree with this video. I can understand your side, but think about it. Do you even know what a coma is??? They can't speak, eat, drink, or do anything they may want to. When you're in a coma, it's a LONG deep sleep. Many may never even wake up. Do you know how hard it is to see your loved one in a sleep where they may never wake up?? I don't know and I don't think I could even imagine the pain they go through, but I do know that they don't like seeing them like that.

  • What about if no one asked the person in the coma whether or not he/she wanted to be put to sleep and their family or loved ones did it anyway? What if that person wants to hold on till the last moment, but the parents didn't know that and pulled the plug?

  • yeah, i agree with you..

    i remember the movie..

    what was it again??

    Reese Witherspoon...

now! i remmber,, JUST LIKE HEAVEN!!!

maybe those things were happening too right???

  • As the person is in a coma they would not know that their life was over. It would be a beautiful and brave act by the parents and I know without a doubt that if my children were in the same position I would do the same thing. I would also expect my husband or children to do the same for me.
