I really love the building in the opening segment. It was built by the British in the early history of Montreal. It is done in the English palladian style.
I used to live in Montreal. In fact I just moved from there to Winnipeg. Montreal is a very special City especially places like Mount Royal, St Joseph's, Mary Queen of the World, Windsor Station,St Helens Island...heck there is so much to see and do there.

The Biodome is ok, but the Eco Museum is better. (Out on the West Island). I lived on the South Shore so the only bowling alley I know is Champion Lanes on Taschereau Blvd in Greenfield Park. I think Saturdays are Black light bowling days...its really cool.

You can see the greystone facades of the buildings mostly built by Scottish immigrants to the province of Quebec in the 1800s.

Laronde is a great place to spend the day, especially when the fireworks festival is on. It used to be on Wednesday's and Saturday's, not sure now.
Ile Ste Helene is nice if you want to have a pik nic and lie around, Mount Royal too...bring peanuts to feed the squirrels.
If you have a car, go to Gramby Zoo. Thats a great place...oh ya, bring bathing suits because the water park is included.
Go for an evening cruise on the St. Laurence River...lots to do, have fun!
